Construction Project Manager - Government Projects
Our client is an international professional services firm with a secure presence across Australia and desire to increase their engineering & project management division. With strong ties to government industries they continue to involve themselves in high profile works, resulting in the need to hire a key resource to bolster the team's capability.
Managing the full lifecycle of the construction process, across substantial and varying developments. Working within the team through best practice whilst in constant communication with ranging stakeholders and end users.
Strong stakeholder & contractor management
Construction delivery and design understanding for new build or significant upgrade & refurbishment
Degree level qualification in engineering/construction or architecture
Government project experience, ideally though Education, Defence & Health
3-10 years' experience within a project management, building or engineering consultancy
Contracts administration knowledge and implementation
Proficiency across subcontract management
Ability to work in conjunction with and manage contractor
Full working rights in Australia
Ability to create strong professional relationships
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Lead, motivate and grow teams
Pride in work and outcomes
Ability to work autonomously
Personable and bright
