The AIG Group consists of 5 different entities and more than 150 employees. As the Group continues to grow and expand, an exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and savvy Payroll officer to join our finance team.
The successful applicant's initial contract will be for a period of 12 months. Minimum hours will be 4 days a week and open for negotiations.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role will include, but not limited to:
Processing and reconciling payroll and supplier payments of all 5 entities fortnightly efficiently
Accurately inputting payroll information into the payroll software and reconciliations
Maintaining of payroll records
Being familiar with payroll related legislation, taxation rules and Superannuation requirements and applying this knowledge to the payroll processing activities
Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information
Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages and reporting on this
Determining payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income, social security taxes, employer's social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments
Resolving payroll discrepancies
Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures
Responding to staff queries
We would love to hear from you if you have:
Minimum 3 years prior experience in a similar role preferably within the NFP sector
Demonstrated experience in payroll processing using MYOB Exo Employer Services and Employee Information.
Advanced user in MS Excel
The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Personal pride in producing accurate and timely work
An outgoing and approachable nature
Problem solving skills, high attention to detail and system orientated
Ability to multitask and working in a fast pace environment
The ability to be a strong and effective communicator with a variety of stakeholders

Full unrestricted Australian work rights
