Develop your career at AGL and join the Strategy & Corporate Development team in the role of Manager, Strategy & Planning. Reporting to the Head of S&P, you will lead a team of passionate strategy professionals and support AGLs strategic pillars to drive growth and transformation.
This varied, challenging and high-profile role represents a fantastic opportunity to directly contribute to the delivery of AGLs Corporate Strategy and support the team to manage the strategy planning cycle, driving strategic projects and programs and sharing insights with the broader team on market and business trends.
Your day will involve:
Coordinate the delivery of strategic projects focusing on growth, transformation and social license, collaborating with teams from other AGL business units
Support the development of AGL's strategic narrative and align other stakeholders and business activities to achieve this vision
Develop briefing materials to support decision-making by senior internal stakeholders
Support the development of business unit strategies, and with integrating these and other critical processes (e.g., budgeting) with the strategy planning cycle
Promote the appropriate and consistent use of strategy methods and frameworks
What youll bring to the table:
You are a highly skilled communicator who is able to effectively present key financial, strategic and operation information at a variety of levels. You are able to influence and build strong stakeholder relationships with a diplomatic, collaborative approach.
You will also have:
Strong experience in a senior Strategic Consulting role, ideally within a consulting firm
Demonstrated ability to be self-directed; effectively identifying and prioritising work and showing a high degree of autonomy when solving problems
A demonstrated capacity to engage, build trust and support stakeholders with various levels of seniority and professional backgrounds
Demonstrated ability to use financial and operational data to guide decision-making
Demonstrated record of excellent academic performance.
Experience as a leader or significant contributor to strategic planning processes within a large organisation
Exposure to the Energy sector is preferred
