12month Maternity Contract


Showtime Entertainment Group Pty Ltd are seeking a Permanent Part-Time Accounts Administrator / Bookkeeper on a 12month maternity contract to assist in managing the accounts of our exciting entertainment business. Days and hours are negotiable within reason making the role suitable for a working mum or dad, as we are flexible around school hours if required. Anticipated 20-30hours per week. There is the possibility of the contract being extended or turning into a permanent position.

To be considered for this role you must have/show:

  • Practical accounting department experience.
  • Sound knowledge and proficiency in all aspects of Bookkeeping/Accounts procedures
  • Experience in EOM procedures including reconciliation of multiple accounts
  • MYOB experience strongly desirable
  • Intermediate to advanced Exel skills
  • Preparation of monthly reports required from the management team
  • An eye for detail and a proactive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have great interpersonal skill with the ability to work with all personality types and liaise with all levels of staff
  • Self-motivated and diligent


Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Management of accounts
  • End of Month procedures including reconciliation and journals
  • Financial reporting and analysis as required on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • Preparations and lodgement (if applicable) of BAS
  • Payroll/Superannuation/PAYG for 30+ employees
  • Assisting with supporting others in the management team
  • Monitor asset registers depreciation
  • File and maintain records
