There is a return to support for Local Manufacturing. This means Shotton Lifts are out performing our competitors in sales of Home and Commercial lifts because we can supply in half the time of Imports. 

We are a proud Australian engineering and manufacturing company based in the South eastern suburbs of Melbourne. With a greater focus in enhancing our customer experience, lead times and growing product portfolio we are looking for an energetic and sales driven person to handle our increased enquiries. 

Lift experience is not a requisite. We need a persistence sales closer who is willing to learn and looking for advancement.  

 Duties will include:

  • Prospecting and building a Lead database and converting the leads to sales
  • Day to day handling of customer enquiries, including phone, email and in person in our showroom.
  • Prepare, provide and follow up quotes to customers
  • Understanding building plans and proposing suitable products. 
  • Making sales calls and as you train working hand in hand with the  experienced hands on Sales manager. 
  • Providing outstanding customer service
  • Updating and maintaining the CRM system. 


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent computer literacy skills in Microsoft office package and CRM package like salesforce will be an added advantage. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly customised customer-oriented industry. 
  • Clear understanding of the importance of detail in delivering to customer needs and in all sales documentation
  • Ability to read drawings and understand practical building applications
  • Mechanical and technical aptitude is highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to build a client base with superior customer service
  • Excellent Communication, phone manner and well presented
  • Ability to multi task, be proactive and work unsupervised
  • Committed team player
