Power and Water Corporations safety vision is zero harm, zero incidents and zero unsafe acts and practices in our workplaces. To achieve our vision, we are seeking an experienced WHSE Lead Auditor/ Investigator to provide expert advice, guidance and leadership.
The Lead Auditor/ Investigator is accountable for the provision of audit and investigation services relating to Work Health, Safety and Environment activities to facilitate continuous improvement of the WHSE management systems within Power and Water, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and our standards and procedures.
The successful candidate will ensure that robust occupational health and safety management systems, processes and cultures are embedded in all aspects of our business. They will have comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and its practical application, Incident Causal Analysis Method (ICAM) or qualifications in Health, Safety and Environmental investigations and Auditing of Management Systems.
We are seeking high level negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to use these skills in the management of complex health, safety and environmental situations.
