ACCOUNTANT - Intermediate/Senior - Circa $55K - $100K plus

Waterford Accountants is a rapidly expanding firm located at Hamilton in Newcastle we currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Intermediate/Senior Accountant.
Ideally you should have previous experience in public practice and enjoy working with clients to help them grow their business and save tax.
As a member of our business services team your main responsibilities will include:
Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and advisory work for trusts, companies, partnerships, SMSF and high net worth individuals.
Providing tax advice and compliance to business clients and high net wealth professionals.
Substantial client interaction, and therefore good communication and interpretation skills with a focus towards client relationships.
Working closely with the business services partner on key client accounts.
To be the successful candidate you must have:
Previous experience within business services in a accountancy firm
CA or CPA qualification or working towards
The ability to deliver work with minimal supervision
The ability to think strategically & long term
A desire to progress your career within a growing organisation
You will be well remunerated based on your skills and experience.
We will ensure to provide you with the kind of broad level exposure to Business Services you need. Including Tax Consulting and Self Managed Superannuation Funds Strategy Advice. If you are not getting this sort of exposure and want to grow professionally then this is the role for you.
We also have regular social functions and team activities so you can work on your "work life balance" and we don't like to work past 5pm.
