Overview: 

Our client is seeking an APS4 Complaints Handling Officer to respond support:

1. implementation, operation and monitoring of the complaints handling function, consistent with the client's Quality and Safeguarding Framework and relevant Commonwealth legislative requirements.

2. under direction carry out the intake of new complaints via phone and internal system and associated tasks including risk assessment and development of acknowledgement correspondence.

3. under direction, contribute to education and training in relation to the effective handling of complaints to inform and educate participants, providers, and the public about the client's complaint handling functions.

4. develop excellent working relationships with a range of stakeholders, to facilitate the work of the complaints handling function.

5. follow and maintain the values promoted by the client.

6. demonstrated understanding of disability services in a State or Territory Government context would be an advantage.

7. Relevant tertiary qualifications.

8. must hold Australian citizenship
