An excellent opportunity exists for a Claims Manager to join our team, working from our Toowoomba office. Your time management and staff oversight will be first class and will reflect our clients expectations as well as supporting internal business imperatives. Please note, this is not a sales role.
Managing our claims team and reporting to the National Agriculture Leader, your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Operational support including oversight of the receipt of new applications/instructions, and registration/commencement of the work allocated to an operational person (Adjuster/Assessor) within our team.
Effectively coordinate the response to client needs and problems, monitor and maintain positive interactions, timely response to phone calls, email and other requests.
End-to-end supervision of clerical and administrative tasks completed by the team including issuing of reports, tracking the progress of claims and adherence to service level agreements.
Support of operational personnel with the claims team, ensuring progression of files, reporting and documentation, meet compliance within client timeline requirements.
Administrative duties scheduling and coordinating meetings, calendar and events in collaboration with operational personnel.
Contributing to maintaining effective relationships between the Company and its clients by performing the duties of the role with a high level of compliance and in accordance with Company guidelines. This includes ensuring claims team personnel conform to Company guidelines.
Organised, logical and methodical with strong attention to detail;
High level communication and customer service skills with report writing experience preferred;
A good working knowledge of the MS Office suit including Excel, Word, Outlook, Publisher as well as data base management;
Enterprising person with effective time management skills;
Commitment to high quality work;
Analytical and problem-solving skills;
Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in business highly regarded; and
Insurance, legal or agricultural background highly regarded, however training will be provided.
