Following our continued growth and success wining and positioning ourselves to deliver current and future Major Projects, we are currently looking for a Technical Principal – IV & Construction Services to support our successful Independent Verification and Construction Services business. The role will be based out of our North Sydney office but will have a national remit.
As a Technical Principal you will provide input, advice and expertise nationally into some of Australia’s most prominent and exciting civil infrastructure projects. Helping to coordinate the delivery of these projects across our different business units, markets and regions in Australia.
As well as helping deliver major projects you will be helping develop and grow the Construction Services and IV teams nationally.
- Build SMEC’s reputation as a leading consultant with a strong reputation for innovation, technical excellence, quality and project delivery;
- Provide technical risk (and opportunity) governance to both proposals and projects to achieve reliable project performance in terms of sophistication, timeliness and quality (e.g. as Proposal/Project Director);
- Support management to provide technical leadership to employees to ensure cohesion, optimal performance, resourcing, retention and professional development of technical staff;
- Support management to achieve sustainable growth of the business through targeted client relationship management (CRM) and business development (BD) activity.
With a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have gained your experience in an engineering design consultancy and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
