Your opportunity:

New products, new strategies, new customers - all reasons there is a need for growth within SwitchDin. This newly created role of Operations and Supply Chain Associate is the next in a solid, close-knit team that provides a seamless process streamlining all activities from purchasing, fulfilment and supply chain tasks and functions.


What youll be doing:

A snapshot of your day-to-day involves;

  • Supporting company wide office administration and supply chain functions.
  • Developing and implementing best in class company's purchasing, fulfilment  and supply chain tasks.
  • Leading and developing high performing planning, purchasing assembly/fulfilment and logistics areas to delight our customers with innovative solutions
  • Assisting senior management in office administration, day to day admin tasks, daily reporting, managing office supplies and any adhoc requirements. 
  • Ensuring demand and supply are matched on a daily basis with both, just in time and inventory-based supply chain models.
  • Responsible for ensuring all sales quotations and purchase orders are managed end to end on a timely basis. 
  • Responsible for charging customers for all hardware, subscription, and support activities.  Manage company rate card and pricing schedules.
  • Managing a small warehouse, laboratory set up and developing plans to improve hardware provisioning (with our software) and customer fulfilment tasks. 
  • Collaborating with all our suppliers and partners to ensure timely delivery into our sites and to customers, minimise waste and production/fulfilment idle time
  • Finding and implementing cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes and operations across planning, inventory, purchasing and logistics.
  • Experience in Stocktake and inventory management.
  • Working hand in hand with other departments to create plans for our continued business growth
  • Reviewing office and supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards

What youll bring:


As a key member of the SwitchDin strategy, your background involves:

  • Degree in business Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, Information Management or related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in similar roles preferably in an engineering/technology based organisation.
  • Proven operational background, supply chain related preferably, with expertise on process improvement, customer fulfilment and complexity handling;
  • Proven management experience in logistics/procurement related teams;
  • Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills with great attention to detail;
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage different stakeholders through the entire project life cycle (from concept design to delivery);
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, who loves identifying opportunities and getting things done;
  • Excellent knowledge of purchasing and supply chain processes;
  • Working experience of relevant software (e.g. Dear, Xero, Jira etc).;
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills;
  • Creative problem-solving and love for KPIs;
  • Attention to detail and diligent mind.

Wage is negotiable depending on experience.
