Business Development Manager - Traffic Control Company
The Traffic Controllers is a RMS approved NSW based traffic control company that was established in 2014.
We currently service many clients, including private businesses and government bodies across the entire state of NSW.
We are now seeking a competent Business Development Manager with proven sales and business development experience working for a similar business or within a business dealing with the blue collar industry.
The BDMs primary objective of the role is to be responsible for developing and establishing new business relationships with prospective customers, key influencers, and increasing our customer base and sales.
What we are looking for:
Minimum of 1-2 + years in Sales/Business Development A strong understanding of the sales cycle and a desire to grow within a our organisation
High level of computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel & CRM
Experience in a sales or customer service environment
Previous experience working within the building and construction / maintenance industries would be highly advantageous
Must hold a current drivers licence.

Work within set KPIs and minimum targets for activity levels and revenue generation
Organise and attend meetings with stakeholders externally
Manage emails and correspondence
Research for projects and business development opportunities
Maintain and update company databases
Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
Provide professional, efficient and timely service and advice to internal and external clients, use effective questioning, negotiation and conflict management to ensure client satisfaction and respond in a timely and appropriate manner to verbal and written enquiries.
Proactively manage your own workflow, take ownership for the accurate completion of your work, perform duties in line with guidelines, procedures and compliance requirements and continually seek improvement in the way in which work is performed.
Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, policy, procedures, compliance requirements and workflows for the business area
Undertake other work as directed.
Ensure day to day activities align with business operations.
Work collaboratively as an effective team member.
Participate in meetings, activities and networks (both internal and external) relevant to the position
