Admin/Despatch Assistant

We are a small family owned business, looking for an Admin/Despatch Assistant for our Timber and Hardware Office at Slacks Creek.  This role is pivotal to the smooth day to day operations of the business.

 

The successful applicant MUST:

Possess Timber Knowledge/have worked in the timber industry

Be able to follow instructions

Be Punctual & Reliable

Be able to work autonomously & take responsibility for your work

Possess a logical thought process & the ability to manage multiple tasks

Have the ability to work well under pressure

Have Exceptional Customer Service Skills & High Attention to Detail & Accuracy

 

Duties include - but not limited to:

Stock input

Allocating, dispatching & Invoicing of customer orders

Receiving & Processing Customer payments

Matching, Scanning & Daily filing of Customer/Supplier Dockets & Invoices

Freight Reconciliation

Processing Customer & Supplier Credit Applications

Customer Service in person & over the phone

Assisting in organising daily runs for trucks & processing all paperwork as required

Assisting in answering phones & emailing relevant messages

Use of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word & Outlook)

Use of MYOB AccountRight (experience preferred, but not essential)

Use of Timbersmart (experience preferred, but not essential)

Any other tasks/duties as requested

 

The position is Full-Time, 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday
