About the Role:

We are looking for a highly-responsible self-starter who is passionate about getting things done. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and managing the day to day warehouse operations. 

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing day to day tasks within the warehouse
  • Process goods receipts and issues using the provided guidelines through the companys ERP system.
  • Packaging and freighting materials as directed
  • Handling of international and domestic freight booking, tracking, collecting on forwarding requirements
  • Dispatching goods through designated freight forwarders
  • Periodic stock takes
  • Inventory management and regular stock control
  • Logistical support and assistance to internal stake holders
  • Maintaining records and stock traceability
  • Coordinating and applying storage procedures in accordance with the relevant regulations
  • General warehouse and driving duties as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must have 2 years of previous related experience
  • Must have a valid Drivers License and Forklift License
  • Must have good written and oral communication skills to negotiate with suppliers and investigate and take corrective action
  • Demonstrated warehousing and logistics experience, ideally within the civil / military aviation spare parts environment
  • Broad knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations (e.g. CASA, EASA, NZCAA, FAA, ITAR, export and import controls), standards and best practices relevant to Material Master Data Management
  • Ability to multitask while managing priorities
  • Hands-on individual who is reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment
  • Manual handling experience with the ability to lift up to 20kgs
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Office suite and ERP type processes
  • Sound administrative, organizational and people skills
  • Demonstrated high degree of initiative and flexibility

This is a Monday to Friday role starting immediately.
