About the Role

The General Manager South Australia Operations, will be responsible for growing and establishing high quality, client centred service delivery, initially focusing on the delivery of Out of Home Care Services operated as part of the Department of Child Protections Placement and Support Package panel. 

Reporting to the CEO, the role will focus on all aspects of service implementation from the ground up, including building a local leadership and service delivery support team to underpin our operations.

This role will ensure all ICS programs are delivered in a manner congruent with service agreements, business and strategic plans, regulatory requirements and the preferred practice methods, as well as maintain processes for evaluation and quality.

Skills and experience

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology/ Human Services or related discipline.

A minimum of 5 years' experience in similar management role within a Not for Profit/Non-Government Organisation with a focus on evidence based practice.

Excellent strategic and innovation skills, with the capacity to translate strategies into operational activities.

Extensive experience in evidence based practice and evaluation in a human services context.

Experience in financial, risk, property and human resource management.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organisation.

The ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
