Intermediate/Senior Accountant ? Business Services & SMSF

Small boutique accounting firm located in Cheltenham that has been in operation for over 25 years and are experts in Accounting, Tax Compliance, SMSF and Business Management.

We currently have a vacancy for an intermediate to senior accountant with SMSF experience. This is a permanent full-time position that has become available due to internal growth.
The role includes but not limited to:

  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns for all entities including companies, partnerships, trusts, individuals and SMSF's
  • Small business CGT concessions, FBT, Div. 7A and GST reconciliations and calculations
  • Preparation of FBT returns and activity statements
  • Liaising with clients and external bodies including but not limited to the ATO and ASIC
  • Support and assist in administrative duties as required


To be considered you must have:

  • CPA/CA qualification
  • Experience with BGL SimpleFund 360
  • Experience with Xero Practice Manager and Reckon Elite preferred but not necessary
  • Have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Service Accountant in a public practice in Australia
  • Excellent attention to detail with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Able to work independently and as a team
  • Excellent time management in meeting internal and external deadlines


Remuneration negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

This is a permanent full-time role and you must have full working rights in Australia to be considered.
