About the role: As a Senior Customer Service Officer, you will deliver a high level of service as a first point of contact for customers and our own team seeking advice, assistance or information regarding Unitywater services. You will support the Contact Centre leadership team to deliver coaching and mentoring to staff and help drive and develop new processes and ways of working. You will provide high level professional, accurate and timely customer service through multiple channels, whilst always maintaining confidentiality of customer information.
Our team handles all types of customer support requests both within our contact centre in Maroochydore and our front counters in Maroochydore and Caboolture. We have a multi-channel centre with a dynamic environment that will require your flexible and adaptable approach – no 2 days will be the same! This position is being offered initially as a 6 month contract, with the possibility of extension.

Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and objectivity in difficult situations and take actions that reflect consideration of the needs and views of others, whilst maintaining a positive attitude.
The ability to problem solve and interpret complex information across multiple databases.
The ability to effectively provide advice, coaching and mentoring to other members of the team.
Manage KPI’s and assist in reporting and maintaining workloads and responses within guidelines.
Experience in process review and improvement, bespoke communication and use of digital channels for customer communication would be advantageous.
