Administration Officer/ Receptionist

Would you like to be part of a multi-disciplinary, child & adolescent therapy practice We are seeking an experienced receptionist to join our team on a permanent part-time basis (3 days/week). 

All Abilities Child and Family Therapy Centre is a private clinic providing assessment and treatment services to children and adolescents aged 0-18 years, as well as support services to their families. We are based in Noosa.

We are seeking a friendly, personable and organised receptionist with previous relevant experience. The successful applicant will work within a team of 2 other reception staff to support our front line clinicians.

The role:

This role will involve answering calls, managing appointments and being the first point of contact many children and families will have with our service. 

Reporting to the administration manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Receiving calls and emails, and directing them as required. 
  • Meeting and greeting children and families who receive services from our clinic
  • Managing clinician diaries
  • Processing client payments
  • Photocopying, scanning and general filing duties
  • Typing letters to doctors and teachers
  • Stationery and office supply management.
  • Basic cleaning duties

The successful applicants should have:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good organisation skills and the ability to multitask within a busy environment
  • Past receptionist experience in a similar setting highly desirable
  • An ability to problem solve 
  • A strong client focused approach
  • An ability to work autonomously, without direct supervision
  • Good computer skills
