Bradken is a leading solutions provider and global manufacturer of innovative, custom engineered products for the resources sector. It operates a global network of manufacturing, sales and service facilities employing over 3,000 people.
Reporting to the Global Head of Logistics, the Logistics Manager has accountability for order and supply fulfilment, ensuring the consistent delivery of raw materials, component parts and finished goods to manufacturing sites and Bradken customers.
You will contribute to the design and implementation of global logistics strategies, oversee procedure and process design and be responsible for ongoing logistics operations. You will facilitate an environment for the identification of best practices for execution in your region that may be standardised at a global level and you will own and lead the innovation and continuous improvement agenda.
You will manage freight and associated export/import compliance requirements while minimising costs and managing inventory levels. You will be accountable for logistics compliance management and OHSE, COR and other regulatory requirements for your logistics region. You will monitor, report and analyse market/industry trends and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve best in market outcomes.
You have proven success in leading, managing and coordinating multi-faceted, decentralised teams with a committed approach to delivering consistent, high quality and timely outcomes. You are motivated by promoting and reinforcing a positive workplace culture, conducive to achieving measurable improvements across the operation.
This role will require some local, interstate and off shore travel but we are open to a Newcastle, Perth or Brisbane location in Australia.
