THE COMPANY Our client has a proud history spanning over 100 years as a supplier of food products to the domestic market and for export. The iconic brand is widely recognised for its leadership in quality of product in its sector. The business has two production sites and head office is based at Bendigo, a major regional centre in central Victoria.
THE ROLE A new position has arisen for a full time, permanent Administration Manager to manage the administrative functions of the company including order taking, accounts payable, accounts receivable, debtors, outbound selling processes and payroll. This position will report directly to the CEO.
RESPONSIBILITIES • Supervise an administrative team of 8-10 payroll, accounts and administration staff; • Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash flow; • Oversee sales processes to ensure efficiency and positive customer experiences; • Preparation of sales reports; • Supervise payroll; • Work collaboratively with the CEO, CFO and accountant to update business systems and create an environment of continuous improvement; • Ensure the company’s ICT systems and support are adequate; • Ensure employee recruitment, development and training programs are implemented and recorded.
REQUIREMENTS • Over 5 years of proven experience in managing an administration team; • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment will be highly regarded but is not essential; • Knowledge of MS Office; MFG Pro or Castaway knowledge would be ideal but not essential; • Strong work ethics; • Be a fit for a dynamic work environment; • Be able to consistently meet time constraints for regular procedures; • Perform under pressure; • Eye for detail; • Excellent communication skills.
LOCATION Bendigo based.
REMUNERATION An attractive salary package will be negotiated commensurate with qualifications and experience.
