Accounts Administration

Bains Laundries, a large commercial laundry, based in Coffs Harbour is a family owned business.

The position is based on a 38 hour week, with hours to be worked, between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.


The Position

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Accounts Administration.

The role requires strong bookkeeping skills and office admin/knowledge. This role is varied and applicants must be proficient with the current MYOB system, able to perform PAYG, BAS, Bank Reconciliations, Payroll, Invoicing, Superannuation Payments, Payment Processing and Accounts Receivable, General Office Duties,  and possess good telephone skills. You will also be required to prepare monthly management reports and ad-hoc financial analysis and work closely with the businesses local accounting firm. To work in this extremely varied role, it is essential that you possess excellent organisational skills, coupled with strong communication and attention to detail.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will:

  • Have extensive experience in MYOB AccountRight and ability to maximise its capabilities.
  • Experience with the Payroll function of MYOB.
  • Have a high level of computer literacy, especially the suites of Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and take ownership of their work.
  • Have a high level of attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to liaise with all levels of the organisation, external customers and suppliers.
  • Excellent time management, sound administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing demands and priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Have the flexibility to increase hours during busy periods.
