Day to day, we:
Solve complex issues for family business owners
handle client compliance requirements
make sure their affairs are properly structured
create & maximise their investment portfolios for risk & return
help them better understand their business & income generation
provide clarity and insight
guide them to develop and execute their vision for the future
educate the family about working together successfully & more harmoniously
help develop children of clients for their role in the family's future
provide guidance to plan for succession and control of family resources
provide support in areas such as:
business growth and conscious transition
sale of business preparations
philanthropy, giving back

About The Role
Primary responsibilities & purpose of the role include:
Manage the completion of all compliance work including tax, accounting, & special projects for clients ensuring all are produced in a timely manner with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail
Contribute on a 'hand on' basis to complete the work including special projects
Supervise and help foster the growth of less experienced accountants & support staff
Provide timely advisory services to clients
Be constantly on the lookout for what our clients need from us - above and beyond regular compliance services
Be constantly on the lookout for how things could be streamlined, improved or simplified - your recommendations will be valued

CA or CPA
In-depth Australian accounting & taxation experience (public practice experience is mandatory)
Demonstrated effective staff supervision and mentoring
High attention to detail and quality of work product
Ability to work as a productive & supportive member of a close team
You have a continually enquiring mind, are comfortable with innovative thinking, and are never happy with the status quo
You're constantly pushing your own boundaries, and understand your contribution to the business relies on multiple factors including skill, professionalism, timeliness, ability to complete and deliver, and your communication ability.
