We provide outsourced Chief Financial Officer services and Backoffice services to clients across the Sunshine Coast region and Australia. We are not your typical accounting firm and have developed a unique model that has been recognised in the Australian Accounting Awards for Advisory Firm and Innovator of the Year.
Our business provides a full service and bespoke solutions for our clients. We work as part of our clients team. This backoffice role has many touch points, is tactical, operational and requires multiple disciplines to succeed in supporting and delivering beyond expectations to clients and your teammates.
This is an established, full time, busy and existing role, reporting to our Directors.
We are looking for a team player who is passionate about quality and challenging conventions, you will need to be a thinker, well organised, love checklists. You are a self starter and someone who has some years of experience to support the busy and ongoing nature of our clients activities day to day.
You will be responsible for and therefore need to demonstrate competency or experience with our clients key processes including:
Purchases and accounts payable,
Sales and accounts receivable,
Bank administration, cash management and reconciliations
GST, BAS, IAS reporting
Regular transaction, accounting and reporting activities
You will be required to have:
Hold a minimum of Cert III Bookkeeping/BAS Agent Registration or qualified with at least 5 years bookkeeping experience
Experience with Xero and/or MYOB for at least 12 months or be willing to learn some functionality proficiently
Learn new applications and systems quickly, be a problem solver and think outside the box to find new technology solutions and platforms to solve problems
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (in particular Excel at intermediate level e.g. vlookups, pivot tables, if, sumif, etc)
Emotional intelligence and awareness in order to harness and build constructive working relationships with clients, colleagues and other external stakeholders.

Ability to work across multiple clients, managing priorities and work flow accordingly, balance important tasks and client expectation, be an excellent communicator and ability to problem solve and talk with clients directly
