BayleyWard Architecture + Interiors are a rapidly expanding architecture and interiors studio undertaking a range of quality projects across many disciplines ranging in budget from $1m to $150m. Commercial offices, High end multi-residential, luxury private homes, hospitality and community buildings.
Our award winning design studio is light filled and spacious located within proximity walking distance to Southbank waterfront and South Melbourne with all its useful amenity and transport links. The practice has a young team of architects and interior designers with a shared passion for a quality of life, exceptional design with a collaborative work ethic.
Working closely with the Directors and Project Architects, this leadership role, as a key part of our management team, will see you responsible for project delivery (from initial briefing through to completion), client management, consultant co-ordination and business development. Management of resourcing, project budgets and project programs will fall within your scope.
Lead projects and small teams through all stages
Collaborate with other senior design leaders and the studio leaders
Coordinate consultants and work closely with clients
Ensure design quality
Provide high level communication to clients, teams and the leadership group
Participate in business development strategy development and the implementation of such.
Contribute to the positive culture of the office
Skills and Experience
Approximately 10+ years minimum experience
Qualified architect ideally with local registration
Demonstrated experience across all project stages from inception to completion
Strong design skills highly valued
ArchiCad or Revit, Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite
Provide high integrity and positive leadership in all aspects of your work
Excellent communication and people management skills
The ability to engage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels
