We are looking for suitably qualified Banker and Fixer Stonemasons with experience in the heritage sector to join the Heritage Stoneworks team.
Stonemasonry is a craft that has been around since the start of human civilisation and has created some of the worlds most cherished buildings and monuments. Our specialist Government agency is focused on the restoration and conservation of iconic sandstone buildings.
In NSW, we have over 1,300 state-owned properties made from sandstone that require ongoing maintenance, including hospitals, court houses, schools and police stations. Current projects include Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney Hospital and the Australian Museum.
This is an amazing opportunity to work on rare and creative projects where you will have the chance to assist with the planning, delivery and management of a range of project tasks.

In this highly specialised trade, you will have exposure to the use of traditional hand tools and modern technology.
We are looking for people with a hands on approach, genuine passion and creative flair for this opportunity.
To be successful for this role, you will have successfully completed a Stonemasonry apprenticeship or can demonstrate equivalent trade experience, and can keep up to date with Work Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
