The Role
They are currently looking for a self-directed and highly motivated Supervisor to join their growing accounting and tax team. This role will see you taking a hands-on approach and will provide exposure to a wide range of client types and responsibilities, including the preparation of:

  • compliance documentation,
  • management accounts,
  • Board meeting documents, and
  • cash flow reports.

Help grow and develop their team by coaching and mentoring the more junior members. Regular client contact and liaison with other stakeholders including external auditors, investment advisors and the ATO is guaranteed at this level.
About You
You will bring at least 4 years’ experience within a chartered firm or private practice having already completed the Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting (CA), if you are part way through or nearing completion you are strongly encouraged to apply. 
The successful candidates will have:

  • a solid understanding of accounting standards and tax rulings as they relate to the work undertaken,
  • a basic understanding of investment asset classes,
  • an understanding of the relationship between risk, return and cashflow,
  • an organised approach to your work,
  • the ability to manage various stakeholders and priorities simultaneously,
  • exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and
  • high attention to detail. 

Experience with Handisoft General Ledger and BGL Superfund is highly desirable. Applicants that have had previous experience working within the tax and accounting private client space will be well suited to this role.
