This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre commercial finance executive to business partner with the Managing Director, Group CFO and the board to drive results. Responsibilities will include:
Oversee the accurate and timely production of budgets, forecasts financial planning, management and financial reporting.
Development of KPI's and financial data to evaluate and drive performance across both the online and bricks and mortar portfolio.
Working closely with the MD and senior leadership team to develop and implement strategies to achieve robust sustainable growth in both revenue and profit.
Provision of strong cash flow management and forecasting.
Embed a high performance, business-focused team culture that embraces collaborative and open communication.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following experience and qualities:
Proven experience at Commercial Director or FD level within (preferably) the retail sector
The ability to provide strong leadership that is influential and collaborative in style - able to make significant strategic decisions and implement them
Experience of driving change and improving financial reporting and controls to support business growth
Able to operate effectively within whilst managing and meeting group requirements
Proven experience of achieving bottom-line improvements in a challenging economic climate.
Operationally focused, hands-on team player.
