This position can be based in either Auckland, Wellington or the east coast of Australia. Kaizon are a multi-disciplinary building consultancy that provide architectural, building surveying, quantity surveying, project management and building related engineering services. In addition theyve recently acquired a fire protection business that youll be collaborating with. They have a close-knit team that is delivering varying and intriguing projects throughout the commercial and high-density residential sectors. Kaizon values the culture that all staff have invested in; staff members at all levels are able to work with autonomy, flexibility and enjoyment while they celebrate success together. They have streamlined and nimble processes in place resulting in the ability to get your job done effectively without too many reports getting in the way. Within this role were seeking an ambitious, outgoing, and commercially-minded professional that has the capacity and knowledge to manage and mentor current staff members whilst having some delivery, business management and client management responsibilities. On the back of strong business successes across all business lines theyre able to implement an aggressive growth strategy and are seeking people that are willing to jump at this opportunity. Were seeking the following attributes:
10 plus years experience within a Fire, Protection and Risk Engineering capacity within New Zealand or Australia.
Project experience within the commercial and/or residential sectors
An engineering degree related to fire engineering and building services
The ability to create and maintain long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
A natural ability to identify new business opportunities
