Aurenda is Australia's leader in injury cost reduction. We are looking for someone to join our team in helping to assist with Occupational Health and Safety Services.
We are seeking a mature and responsible 'people person' with a strong background in occupational health and safety, administration, word processing and computer applications. The successful candidate will be required to have the ability to work in a fast paced, challenging environment.
Key responsibilities include
Providing administrative and technical office based support to assist the Occupational Health and Safety team.
Development of WHS documents including policies and procedures, templates and tools.
Proof reading and completion of WHS reports, risk assessments and incident investigations.
Development of WHS client information including bulletins, circulars and training materials.
Administration of Safety Information Systems used by our clients to record and manage their WHS documents and records, and other WHS information and data.
You will work with a sensational team of people in a consulting environment to facilitate the administration of occupational health and safety process
The required attributes for this role include:
A Certificate IV Occupational Health & Safety or higher would be advantageous.
2 years' experience in a Work Health & Safety administration is ideal.
Strong knowledge and understanding of WA Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) legislation.
Knowledge of best practice safety management approaches including Safety Management Systems.
Knowledge and skills in contemporary WHS management practices including hazard management, incident investigation, risk assessment, safety communication and people engagement processes.
Well-developed verbal communication and interpersonal interaction skills.
Strong professional writing skills to prepare, proof-read and finalise documentation.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
This position is a permanent part-time position of 3 days a week. The successful applicant will be required to have some flexibility in relation to work hours.
