About the business and the role

We are looking for a self-motivated, driven, highly intelligent individual to join our team as a 12v Product Specialist, focusing on Sales & Customer Service tasks within our business. 

This Role: Presents an opportunity to join a company in a strong growth phase, and as such, the right candidate has the opportunity to rise and flourish internally as the company continues to grow.

Our products relate to:

  • Appliances for the Caravan, 4WD & Camping market; portable camping fridges, upright caravan fridges, caravan air conditioners, 12/24 volt appliances, solar power etc.
  • Appliances for the Boating & Marine market
  • Engine driven equipment such as generators, pressure washers, water pumps etc.
  • Other outdoor power equipment and tools.

Our customers include:

  • Caravan & RV enthusiasts
  • Camping & 4WD enthusiasts
  • Homeowners requiring backup power, DIY'ers
  • Tradesmen, Farmers, Builders
  • Civil Engineering Firms, Government Departments, Construction Companies

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • 12v product knowledge and expertise
  • Sales and quotation processes
  • Customer service responsibilities (phone, email and live chat)
  • Business operation tasks & logistics (liaising with suppliers, freight companies etc.)
  • General admin duties
  • Working with existing management and business founders to aggressively grow and scale the business 
  • Various other tasks including; help with marketing campaigns, website quality assurance, inventory management, etc.

Skills and experience

In addition to the Customer Service & Sales related qualifications, experience and skills listed below, it is essential that the right candidate have:

Skills:

  • Excellent computer skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (chiefly Word and Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Organised and able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment

Experience:

  1. Minimum 2 years 12v product expertise with brands like Enerdrive & Victron.
  2. An understanding of electrical systems for auto and off-grid applications.
  3. Customer Service / Sales Experience
  4. Conflict resolution
