Paul Carroll are looking for an experienced Graphic/Web Designer to join our growing team. Your role would be to work closely with the Marketing team to bring visions for EDMs, landing pages, print material (such as catalogues and posters) and other marketing assets to life.
The right candidate will be a passionate designer with photography experience who is keen to get creative and be part of a close knit, supportive team. You will be flexible, adapt to change well and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
About The Role
Starting part time at 4 days per week (with the possibility of transitioning to full time hours), the position is conveniently located in Burswood with parking on site.
Working hours are flexible with a competitive salary.
The Right Candidate Will Have
At least 5 years experience in a similar role (preferably within a retail or ecommerce brand)
Experience designing EDMs and customising HTML for Mailchimp
Strong Adobe Creative Suite proficiency (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects)
Studio product photography and videography experience
Good knowledge of professional lighting and how to manipulate
Experience editing photos for multi-platform use including image optimisation for web
Proficiency in graphic design for magazines, stationary, POS materials, newspapers and large format print adhering to specifications supplied by outlet
Your Main Responsibilities
Creating our season catalogue in collaboration with the creative director. This includes product photography, pre-press production and press proofing (examples of this can be found on our website paulcarroll.com.au/catalogue )
Creating stock catalogues for the wholesale arm of the business
Working with the merchandising department to design large format posters and banners for each of our retail stores
Photographing and preparing/retouching product images for the website, uploading them via FTP (file management and naming conventions apply)
Videography and editing of walking videos on our website
Creating regular promotional EDMs and complimenting online and POS material (including but not limited to social images, website banners and posters)
Designing promotional and informational landing pages and regularly updating website graphic content at the direction of the marketing team
Infographic and social image design (including .gif format)
Knowledge of image use and requirements to ensure the marketing team produces appropriate imagery for all uses ahead of photoshoots
