Product Manager - IPC/ IoT Product

We are currently seeking a passionate Product Manager - IPC/ IoT to join our OP CPM team and build your career with them.

Key aspects of the role are including but not limited to:

  • Developing marketing and communications plans and activities for specific product category;
  • Overseeing market research, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs;
  • Overseeing the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements to define product strategies and identify opportunities to expand market share;
  • Maintaining current status of customer requirements for existing and future products, feedback to head quarter R&D team;
  • Building up strong relationship with local distributor partners and assisting local distributor to deal with head quarter for ordering, logistics and promotion;
  • Developing content for internal and external audiences relaying product strategies and value propositions, including customer presentations and products training materials;
  • Working with Product Administration and TPM teams to ensure accurate forecasting, lead-time estimating, and pricing for products under management;
  • Managing product launches to ensure readiness for internal/ external stakeholders and optimise P&L impact of product transitions;
  • Providing input into: item forecast & mix planning, category and BU offer strategy.
  • Collaborating with account management team to understand customer requirement and collect market information.
  • Collaborating with local and HQ marketing team to deliver the messages to target audiences and business partners.
  • Driving marketing/promotion activities and event to increase mind shares for specific product category;
  • Reviewing service model from time to time and improve customer satisfaction at high level;
  • Visiting key partners at inter-state and attending roadshow/ tradeshow when required.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following:

  • Tertiary education in marketing or product management;
  • 5+ years of product management and sales related experience;
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment daily decision making;
  • Demonstrated leadership and strong drive for results;
  • Team player and effective in dealing with ambiguity;
  • Strong business acumen and customer focus;
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident with unlimited working rights within Australia, no overseas applicants.
