Bilba Group is the largest rural water development company in northern Australia. We take a holistic approach to water development and infrastructure; manufacturing, supplying and installing high-quality products to cattle stations, mining, marine and industrial industries. We are the only NT supplier to manufacture our own poly pipe, concrete troughs, tanks, select fittings and barbwire. We continually test and refine these products on our own cattle stations, which will soon have a carrying capacity of 170,000 head, making us one of the largest beef producers in the Northern Territory.
We're currently seeking a welder to join our close knit team in Katherine to assist in fabricating cattle station infrastructure such as cattle panels, water tank trusses, trough lids, trailers, etc.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated and professional, displaying the ability to work independently as well as cohesively within the team. They will be highly confident, competent and consistent when it comes to all aspects of fabrication. They must be able to interpret technical drawings and must be able to work unsupervised.
Second class welders are also welcome to apply for this position.
The position will initially be casual with a minimum 38 hours per week Mon- Fri, with the potential for an ongoing/permanent position for the right candidate.
