About the role:
Melbourne Law School is seeking a full time Digital Communications and Media Coordinator to join our Marketing and Engagement team until the end of 2020.
The Digital Communications and Media Coordinator manages the MLS digital content and strategic communications that engages our stakeholders, showcases our stories, and protects our reputation. This is achieved through planning, developing and delivering high quality integrated digital content and strategic communications across multiple platforms. The Digital Communications and Media Coordinator also manages media enquiries and writes/edits wide ranging pieces that showcase our research.
The position sits within the Engagement and Marketing team, which promotes Melbourne Law School to its key global audiences, promotes key teaching and learning areas, promotes academic research to wide audiences, engages with alumni and coordinates public events.
The position has one direct report.
You will have very strong and successful digital content and communications management expertise, developed in either the higher education or another sector or is able to demonstrate suitable transferable experience. You will have fantastic digital content development skills. You will have strong writing and interviewing skills. You will have highly developed organisational and interpersonal communication skills, with absolute attention to detail and accuracy, and discretion and sound judgement. You will have a flexible, creative and resourceful approach to your work and you will be committed to the delivery of high-quality work that reflects the prestige of Melbourne Law School and the University of Melbourne brand.
