HR Administration Officer

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and efficient administration guru to join our HR team. The role is located onsite in Guyra NSW, and is available as a full time or part time basis (min 30hrs per week).

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Supporting weekly payroll processing for over 600 employees;
  • Interpretation and application of Awards and Agreements;
  • Maintaining employee records and files;
  • Supporting recruitment and staff onboarding administration;
  • Training record administration;
  • Site reception, including being the first point of contact for site visitors;
  • General administrative tasks such as filing, mail collection etc. 

To be successful in the role, you will require:

  • Exceptional organisation skills with the ability to effectively balance multiple tasks, frequent interruptions and competing priorities;
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy;
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal;
  • A true passion for continuous improvement and process efficiency using IT;
  • Good IT skills including general database use and intermediate level MS Excel skills;
  • A friendly, positive and approachable personality with exceptional customer service skills;
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment;
  • The willingness, ability and initiative to support the broader Management and operational team with a range of general administration and tasks;
  • HR, payroll or general administrative qualifications and/or experience will be highly regarded;
  • Australian Citizenship/Permanent residency or a visa with work rights for a minimum of 4 years.

About the Tomato CategoryOur tomatoes are grown 365 days per year in one of Australias largest and most advanced glasshouse facilities, located at Guyra, in the beautiful New England Tablelands region of NSW.  

 

To accommodate our continued business growth, a $67 million expansion project is underway, increasing our production area by 33% and creating an additional 150 jobs onsite. This expansion project will bring our onsite operation to 40ha of glasshouse, 2.5ha propagation nursery, 2 large packing facilities and over 800 staff.

We currently grow 9 varieties of tomatoes including large truss, cocktail truss and small snacking.
