Technical SEO Product Manager

You will have skills across owned, earnt and paid platforms and be looking to take your next career to the next stage. You will be experienced in managing competing priorities and stakeholders whilst being part of a vibrant and dynamic workplace culture with access to the latest technology, software and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide regular updates and presentations to business leaders and stakeholder on SEO strategy, planning and results
  • Constantly monitor policy and algorithmic changes at Google to
    ensure the websites are optimised accordingly.
  • Articulation of SEO strategy, tactics and an overall vision for best-in-class SEO product
  • Define SEO product roadmap and lead execution
  • Work closely together with product, engineering and marketing teams to design, prioritize and implement SEO features and optimizations
  • Educate product and tech teams about SEO
  • Ongoing competitor monitoring
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest changes in Search, and be proactive about identifying new opportunities
  • Deliver on SEO traffic goals
  • Monitor, analyze and report on channel performance, including traffic, leads and keywords
  • Monitor SEO health metrics and actively identify areas of improvements
  • Implement link-building strategies including (but not limited to):
    o The provision of quality content on the site to which others will want to link to naturally.
    o Actively pursue the generation of external links from good quality,
  • Partner with other product managers, local markets and agencies to drive SEO content strategy and creation, including site architecture, taxonomy, URL structure, metadata and on-page copy

What experience will you need

  • 6+ years of SEO / SEM experience
  • Strong technical SEO background
  • E-commerce product experience is a plus 
  • Extensive use of data to understand users and search engines, analyze and make decisions.
  • Proven record of deliverables on complex and loosely-defined problems.
  • Ability to influence, collaborate and work through authority.
  • Growth mindset, humility, and a burning desire to own your domain and your work
  • User-centric approach, and ability to consider multiple perspectives
  • Intimate knowledge of data analytics and SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Botify, Screaming Frog, Moz, SEMrush
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts for a variety of audiences 
  • A natural collaborator, able to align across multiple functions, and drive SEO projects concept-to-delivery
  • Ability to distill long-term vision into short and long-term actions items, roadmaps and plans
  • English proficiency
  • Results oriented critical thinker

  • Experience in optimizing site structure, internal linking, meta tags, crawlability, redirects, sitemaps, app indexation and code quality
  • Ability to use relevant tools for website analysis, competitor analysis and keyword analysis
