We are a well-established investment company seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for an immediate start. This position is ideal for someone wanting to work flexible casual hours (approx. 15-25 hours per week) between the hours 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. We are a small team that must work effortlessly together.
Ideally this position will suite someone with a minimum 4 years bookkeeping experience. Knowledge of retail stores and property considered highly but not essential. You must be able to work autonomously and in busy times under pressure. Our preferred candidate will be hard-working, organised and pay attention to detail.
Must be proficient in MYOB AccountRight software, Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word and Outlook). Experience in payroll, invoicing and understanding reports necessary. You will have good communication skills and effectiveness in liaising with our clients and suppliers.
The position will require ongoing reviews of office procedures and systems to ensure productivity and efficiency, so bring your creativity and a positive attitude.
Key role responsibilities:
Preparation of BAS, PAYG, Super
Provide and understand financial reports including turnover reports
Liaise with Accountant
Priority preferences required:
Australian citizen (excellent English)
Experienced in MYOB
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Minimum 4 years Bookkeeping experience
Organised and committed to delivery a high standard of work
