Junior Office Administration / Receptionist(Please note that Junior wages apply)

This is an ongoing casual position working 38 hrs a week Monday to Friday, After a successful qualifying period a permanent role may be offered, You must be keen,motivated,enthusiastic & have a bright and outgoing personality.

Recruitment 24/7 has an upcoming vacancy for a Junior Office Administration / Receptionist position to work in our office based in Ipswich (Please note that Junior wages apply)

This is an ongoing casual position working Monday to Friday with the view that after a successful qualifying period you may be offered a permanent role with the option of doing a Traineeship.

It is essential that the successful applicant must be computer literate and be confident with word, excel spread sheets and data entry.

You will have a high attention to detail and deliver accurate work. A strong work ethic and exceptional time management skills are required as you must have the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.

You will be well presented, possess a confident & pleasant phone manner and also have a pro-active and professional approach to your work. 

Responsibilities and duties :

  • Answering calls and handling queries
  • Greeting everyone that enters our office
  • Preparing correspondence on the managers behalf
  • Liaising with staff clients, etc.
  • Managing the managers electronic diary
  • Writing minutes
  • Writing reports, executive summaries and newsletters
  • Updating our internal recruitment data base
  • Managing and reviewing filing and office systems
  • Updating websites including social media
  • Typing documents
  • Sourcing and ordering stationery and office equipment
  • General administration duties
  • Cleaning the office on a Friday afternoon

A current Drivers Licence and your own transport would be a major advantage, however not entirely necessary as long as you can get to work.

The above position offers a wide and diverse range of duties that is performed on a day to day basis, ensuring that there is no chance that you would get bored while at work.

Full training will be provided to the successful applicant, however you must be motivated, keen, enthusiastic and have a bright and outgoing personality and be confident to speak on the phone.
