About the role: A rare opportunity has arisen for an Infrastructure Standards Engineer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. You will have the ability to work across our Caboolture and Maroochydore locations when required, with flexibility. Reporting into the Infrastructure Manager you will have the opportunity to manage, maintain and develop a portfolio of design and construction standards. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of over $200m of new assets each year and develop trusting relationships across the business to continuously improve the quality of assets we deliver at Unitywater. You will be expected to work autonomously and build and foster relationships across the business with a focus on delivery of outcomes.
About you: To contribute to Unitywater’s values of Reliability, Safety, Honesty& Integrity, Efficiency, One Team, Innovation, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role:
Degree qualification in Engineering with RPEQ.
Eligibility for membership of Engineers Australia, AWA and/or other relevant professional bodies.
Significant experience in the design and construction of linear infrastructure including the development of technical standards.
Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to rapidly pull together and lead working groups to solve complex problems.
Exposure in the development of Australian standards or regional and national codes will be highly regarded
C Class Driver Licence.
