An outstanding career opportunity is available for an experienced and enthusiastic individual with a proven background with the drive and motivation to form part of our Queensland Sales Team as a Business Development Manager.
Reporting to the State Manager located at Larapinta, Queensland, you will engage new and current customers and provide administrative, customer service and sales support to ensure effective, efficient and accurate business operations.
The successful candidate be responsible for:
Managing a product focussed market segment across the supply chain to ensure best possible outcomes for both customers and the business.
Experience in Plate products would be highly sought after but an outstanding sales and development history is also highly sought.
High level of negotiation skills is critical to the success of this role.
Assist, develop and generate new business opportunities
Maintain and manage current customers by developing clear and concise communications, sales strategies and relationships to meet targets and deadline
Understanding different Procurement offers and how to apply across the customer base to meet project-based customer supply requirements and deadlines.
Building relationships with all links in the supply chain both internally and externally.
Proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs
Ability and drive to work autonomously
Have well developed communication skills
Possess outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrate an ability to work within a team structure
Demonstrate an ability to work in a changing environment
Demonstrate an ability to work well under pressure
This is a critical role which requires professionalism, strong eye for detail and exceptional planning, time management, ability to adapt quickly to handle change and communication skills.
