Who you are
You will be a trade qualified Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic or equivalent, with significant experience in maintaining and servicing HME fleet (mining open pit and workshop). Your component repair and refurbishment, CAT SIS and VIMS experience together with experience maintaining the following Caterpillar equipment is essential;
- 793 D & F Haul Trucks
- D10 & D 11 Track Dozers
- 854 Wheel Dozers
- 994 Wheel Loaders
- 16H, 24H & 24M Graders
As a minimum you will have a C class manual drivers licence and basic computer skills. Ideally, you will also have:
- A MR Class Drivers Licence
- A High Risk Licence (crane, rigging, dogging, forklift, elevated work platform)
- SAP experience
- Six Sigma / Lean Belts experience
- Failure Analysis experience
- A Senior First Aid Certificate
You will demonstrate your commitment to safety and use your experience and judgement to ensure yourself and your workmates stay safe. Your ability to set good examples of work ethic and integrity together with your positive mind set in dealing with work and people will be highly regarded.
