We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional receptionist to be the welcoming face of a dance studio for children aged 2-18 years. From welcoming students and parents to the studio, to helping them figure out the best class package or timetable, we are looking for the right candidate who will also process payments, respond to email and phone enquiries, as well as take pride in maintaining our membership system.
The right candidate must:
*Be able to build a good rapport with both students and their parents
*Have a positive, proactive and bright attitude
*Be energetic and well-presented
*Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal
*Have experience in a fast-paced environment
*Have strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise
*Be able to work in a team, get along with other staff members and communicate effectively amongst them
*Be computer savvy - able to use Google or Microsoft programs (intermediate level - advanced not required)
*Ideally have previous admin or front desk experience
*Have a current Working With Children Check for paid employment
*Be able to work the below hours, with the opportunity to pick up more hours when required:
Tuesday 3:30-7:30pm (4 hours), Thursday 3:30-7:30pm (4 hours), Saturday 9-1pm (4 hours)
*Be available to work some admin hours from home on a flexible basis
*Be willing to consider the studio as their main form of employment. We are looking for someone who will be invested in our studio and be part of our team for the long term future
