About the Role

Due to expansion, we are seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our professional and dynamic organisation in a multi-facet role of Stock Control whilst also providing Vehicle Registration and Reception support.  Reporting to the Office Manager, you will enjoy a wide variety of responsibilities and will work closely with the Corporate Receptionist/Registration Clerk.

Stock Control

  • Ordering of stock from manufacturer and daily reporting of sales/deliveries to Kia/LDV
  • Negotiate swaps with local/national dealers as required;
  • Maintaining accurate stock lists for Fleet and Retail Sales Departments;
  • Arrange for transfer of vehicles between company sites and other Dealerships;
  • Undertaking periodic inventory stocktakes;
  • Maintaining a mutually beneficial business relationship within the Kia/LDV Dealer Network;
  • Liaising with General Manager, General Sales Manager, Sales Consultants and Manufacturer representatives, to ensure efficient movement of vehicles into stock and expeditiously to Sales Consultants and customers.

Registrations/Reception Support

  • Welcome, assist and direct customers in Head Office/ Showroom;
  • Answering and directing all incoming external and internal telephone calls;
  • Assisting with registrations of new, used, demonstrator and company driven vehicles;
  • Administrative paperwork to wholesalers;
  • Daily reconciliation reports re registrations processed;
  • Preparation of vehicle service books;
  • Various other administration tasks as required.

Skills and Experience

  • Automotive industry experience, preferably in stock control
  • Exposure to ERA would be highly regarded
  • Experience in Excel is paramount
  • Strong negotiation and problem solving ability
  • Exceptional customer service focus;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Professional presentation with an energetic and charismatic approach;
  • Discipline for process and procedure, including a strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills;
  • Team orientated individual with ability to apply a high degree of autonomy;
  • Knowledge of vehicle registrations through the Ezy Reg system an advantage, but not essential.
