Snowy Hydro is a dynamic, integrated energy business that has been providing on-demand, reliable energy to Australia for almost 70 years. Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is a nation-building renewable energy project that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This pumped-hydro expansion of the Snowy Scheme will link two existing dams, Tantangara and Talbingo, through a 27km underground tunnel and a new underground power station. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and it will underpin the nation's secure and stable transition to a low-carbon emissions future at the lowest cost for consumers.
As you can see we have a great deal to achieve and we can not do this without exceptional people with great skills. This is where you come in, we are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified people that have demonstrated specialist skills and experience working on major infrastructure construction projects in any of the following disciplines or role types;
Project Engineering - Civil
Lobs Hole, located in the Kosciuszko National Park, is the primary construction site for the Snowy 2.0 project that is home to two major TBM tunnelling portals and other significant works, including road construction and maintenance, high voltage power reticulation and the management of large quantities of spoil. Associated construction facilities at the Lobs Hole site include supporting plant, equipment, worker accommodation, workshops and project offices.
