RISING is a surge of art, music and ceremony in the heart of Melbourne.
Taking the place of the Melbourne International Arts Festival and White Night Melbourne, RISING is a major cultural event for the Asia Pacific Region created by a diverse team of local, national and international artists and curators.
RISING will begin on the evening of the total lunar eclipse in May 2021. Interlocking circles of experience and connection will radiate through the night, as the city re-synchronises and is re-energised with public art, performance and music spanning the emerging and iconic, the epic and intimate.
The inaugural festival will take place 26 May 6 June 2021.
We are looking for a Content Producer to help bring our festival brand to life with dynamic and engaging digital content. This is a role suited to a creative with strong experience in brand storytelling, digital content ideation and production.
We are on the hunt for a visual storyteller with a bold and creative approach to digital content creation.
You are a multi-channel content producer with an eye for design and an ear for music and soundscapes. You think in storyboards, style frames and shot lists and can pull it all together in a slick design treatment, video edit or playlist.
You are social media savvy and understand user experience and how people consume content. Youre aware of design and content trends but not devoutly led by them. Youre a good collaborator and can work to style guides, brand and tone of voice guidelines and existing content. You know your way around Adobe Creative Suite.
In a nutshell: an art director with proficient video editing skills, as well as graphic design.
This role is a part-time/full-time role and is fixed term until June 2021.
