This role is within our Cabling and Connectivity division, who are specialists in the distribution of cable, connectivity, and related products primarily to the electrical wholesale market.

 

About the role

Based in our Bayswater Office reporting directly to the CEO, Cabling and Connectivity this is a hands-on role responsible for achieving profitable sales growth throughout Western Australia. Managing both the Perth Office and Warehouse, this role will see you work across the entire account management and sales process, executing a variety of sales styles and strategies to see success.

Leading a team of four direct reports, you will set an example to help champion our brands by delivering outstanding customer experience through advanced service solutions. The role will also require:

  • Making maximum use of the distribution channel (re-sellers) to hold stock and improve market penetration for Madison products
  • Sales growth and reactivation of inactive accounts
  • Providing detailed and accurate quotes which include all necessary information to land sales.
  • Support daily sales invoicing, ensuring orders are released to warehouse staff to meet daily transport times and coordinate freighting requirements for orders when required
  • Log enquiries/quotes into Salesforce and raise local purchase orders to meet sales order requirements
  • Coach your team to keep the balance between servicing customers, finding new business and supporting other elements of the business to achieve the overall objectives for the group

About you

We need a hands-on sales professional and a natural people leader who will bring their team with them on the road to success. 

Others describe you as motivated, resilient and always willing to put in the extra mile to achieve amazing results and support your team. You will be comfortable with a mix of metro and regional travel and will have a background dealing with wholesalers and integrators across data communications, electrical, RF and data security industries.
