Procurement Assistant

Banjo's Corporation are looking for a Procurement Assistant to assist the National Procurement Officer with making sure our stores have all they need to continue to operate effectively! 

Main Duties

  • Examine and review products and supplies to ensure quality 
  • Track incoming and outgoing orders to ensure on time delivery
  • Organise and update database of approved suppliers
  • Picking, packing and shipping (Receipt and dispatch of goods). 
  • Managing inventory
  • Manage Purchase Orders to ensure effective and efficient supply of goods and services
  • Resolve any invoice issues with suppliers and stores 
  • Direct communication with key stakeholders such as Suppliers and Banjo's stores 
  • Report to management on activities and issues
  • Other Ad Hoc duties to assist the office and the National Procurement Officer as required. 

 

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of logistics procedures or ability to learn these quickly 
  • Experience invoicing through Xero (preferred but not essential)
  • Computer literate and sound knowledge of Microsoft programs (excel, word)
  • General inventory control knowledge and procurement experience  
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to multitask with strong time management skills
  • Excellent planning, organisational and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Physically able to lift and move stock
