Office & Client Services Assistant

Stirling Partners is a Chartered Accounting practice located in the heart of Nedlands. The practice provides taxation, accounting and business services to medium and high net worth individuals and their associated entities. We require the services of an enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Office and Client Services Assistant to provide support to a Director's team.  The role will be responsible for providing administrative support and assistance.

Duties include:

  • General administration functions
  • Client services & workflow management
  • Assisting with premise management including IT/HR/suppliers.
  • Facilities & records management.
  • Ad-Hoc assistance to the Director
  • Invoicing
  • Monitoring workflow productivity
  • Preparation of final accounting/tax packages to client
  • Attending to the creation of new legal entities including associated regulator registrations
  • Australian Tax Office liaison and information management
  • Answering phone calls/emails
  • Mail management

Key Experience Required:

  • Experience in a similar administration role and the processes and procedures involved is essential
  • Experience of data entry and workflow processes, together with liaising with and requesting information from clients.
  • Must be able to work to and meet daily targets and deadlines
  • Ability to work with people at all levels
  • An intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite together with operating a multi-line telephone system

The following would be desirable:

  • Experience using accounting systems including: Xero, BGL SF360, BGL and CAS360.
  • Experience using the Australian Tax Office portal
  • Studies in Business Administration or associated areas
  • Tertiary education an advantage
  • Good phone etiquette

Applicants with previous professional firm experience or a close equivalent is a bonus.
