Accounts Administrator | Brisbane Fringe | Part-time

Work with a sold top shelf Financial Planning Business, Work part-time - 2 1/2 days per week, Challenging and busy role with both payable and receivable functions.

Our Client

Our high profile client is looking for a part-time Accounts Payable/Receivable person to assist join their busy successful and Financial Planning practice.

They are a well established boutique business that prides themselves on the provision of advice to the highest ethical standard.    Their specialty is to guide superannaution and retirement to ensure they grow their wealth whilst having a comprehensive wealth protection plan.

The Role

Working alongside the Managing Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the accounts are reconciled at the end of each month together with month end and financial reporting in line with accounting principles.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Payroll duties
  • Invoicing
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Processing sub-contractor payments
  • Contract maintenance
  • Reconciliations
  • BAS and PAYG
  • General bookkeeping
  • Assisting Accountant

About You

This position is ideally suited to a professional and enthusiastic applicant who has previous experience working as an Accounts Administrator and providing administrative support within a busy Financial Services environment.

To be successful for this role you must have:

  • Ideally, at least 3 years previous experience within the Accounting / Financial Services industry preferably within an Accounting business in a similar capacity.
  • Strong word processing, document proof-reading and office administration skills
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products as well as Advanced Xero, Adviser Logic, and Xplan.
  • The ability to manage workloads through multi-tasking and time management and be able to work to deadlines.
  • Willingness to support both internal and external stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and be process driven
