Receptionist / Client Service Officer

RetireInvest Wide Bay is a well-respected financial planning organisation with four offices in the Wide Bay and Gold Coast areas, specialising in servicing medium to high net worth clients.

We have a strong emphasis on customer service, building rewarding relationships and delivering reliable outcomes to assist with achieving our clients financial and lifestyle goals.

The opportunity on offer is a full-time experienced Financial Planning Client Service Officer / Receptionist position in our Bundaberg office working closely with our Financial Advisers and Clients.

This role manages the flow of incoming communications to and from our office and is responsible for assisting clients in their dealings with our Practice, nurturing deeper relationships with personalised service.

This role is also a support for our Financial Advisers in preparing and executing recommendations and requests. This level of support acts as a conduit between our Financial Advisers, Clients and Product Providers.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Management of Adviser diaries and correspondence
  • Liaising with clients and providing superior service and building relationships
  • Preparing paperwork and documentation for client meetings
  • Implementing paperwork and liaising with fund managers
  • Maintaining client files in accordance with the Licensee compliant requirements
  • Accurate database management - both computerised and manual
  • Support advisers in preparing and executing recommendations and requests   
  • Filing, scanning and photocopying

Qualifications and Skills

To be our ideal candidate, you will need:

  • Previous experience in the Financial Services Profession in areas such as Client Service or Administration
  • Xplan experience highly regarded
  • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and work to deadlines
  • A committed and caring attitude focused on productivity, quality service, team goals and outcomes
  • A willingness to adhere to the company's values
